Securing Europe's Energy Future: Moreld Agility's Contribution Through Innovation and Collaboration

In an era where geopolitical tensions pose significant challenges to Europe's energy supply, Moreld Agility has emerged as a key player in ensuring the continuity of this vital resource. Through innovative adaptation and strategic collaboration, we have demonstrated our capacity to overcome obstacles and contribute to a more secure energy future for the continent.

Our involvement in the Shah Deniz Gas Project in Azerbaijan, one of the most significant initiatives to diversify Europe's energy sources, illustrates our ability to act swiftly under pressure. When Russia restricted access to its rivers for transport in 2022, a crucial route for the energy sector, we faced an immediate challenge. Our response was to establish production capacities in Baku, leveraging a highly skilledwork force from Skien, and maintain the delivery of essential components such as well jumpers to the project.

This adaptation was made possible thanks to our agile mindset and close collaboration as a preferred supplier to stakeholders like TFMC and BP. These efforts have not only cemented our position as a reliable supplier in the energy sector but also secured a continuous energy supply to Europe during a period of great uncertainty.

In the period from 2016 to 2022, Moreld Agility delivered 10 off 350-ton manifolds and 10 off 250-ton support structures that were deployed subsea in the Caspian Sea at a water depth of 600 meters. The equipment will be in service for a span of over 40 years, essentially without maintenance, which requires an ability to deliver to extreme quality standards.

Moreld Agility's contributions extend beyond the Shah Deniz project. Our deliveries to North Sea projects continue to play a vital role in supporting the energy supply to Northern Europe, demonstrating our flexibility and commitment to energy security across the continent.

The Shah Deniz field, operated by the British oil company BP and the Azerbaijani state oil company Socar, exemplifies what can be achieved through international cooperation. The field, as large as and shaped like Manhattan, is expected to deliver 16 billion cubic meters of gas to regional markets and Europe, emphasizing the importance of secure and reliable energy sources. It also holds 3000 million barrels of oil.

Gary Jones, BP's regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, described the start-up of the SGC as a "historic milestone", connecting Azerbaijan and Europe with a direct, safe, and reliable energy link. This project is a testament to what can be achieved when nations and businesses come together to face the complex challenges of our time.

As a leading supplier in the energy sector, Moreld Agility looks forward to continuing to support Europe's energy future through innovation, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to delivering under the most challenging circumstances. Our success in the Shah Deniz project and beyond demonstrates our ability to make a positive contribution to Europe's energy security, and we are dedicated to maintaining this effort in the years to come. By standing together, we can ensure a stable and sustainable energy future for Europe. Moreld Agility is committed to playing a vital role in this initiative, and we dedicate ourselves to being an integral part of the solution to today's and tomorrow's energy challenges.
