The Maria field, developed by Wintershall Dea from discovery to production, is among the world's most advanced seabed fields, located on the Haltenbanken in the Norwegian Sea. Discovered in 2010 and starting production in 2017, the development of Maria Phase 2, approved in 2023, aims to extend the field's lifespan by utilising the infrastructure of four nearby fields. The field produces oil and gas through two subsea well frames at a depth of 300 metres.

The manifold weighs 145 tonnes and measures 17x10x4 meters. This component is crucial for extending Maria field's production life, potentially adding 27 million barrels to its output. The field is scheduled to continue production until 2040.
